Under 18s lead way for Crushers as Div 1 struggles

Nambour JC Hire Under 18s are leading the way for Crushers this season with a hard fought win against Maroochydore on Saturday.

A successful last minute penalty conversion by Kye Sherry sealed the win after a great team effort by all players from both teams. Final score was Nambour 32 defeating Maroochydore 30.

Division 1 saw a loss to Maroochydore 42-24 and Division 2 were also defeated by Maroochydore 36-16 despite a brave effort by both teams.

Next home games for Crushers is this Saturday 17th April against Caloundra Sharks.

• Under 18s – 2.30pm • Division 2 – 4.00pm • Division 1 – 5.30pm • Open Women – 7.00pm

This will be the first home game for the Nambour Telstra Shop Women’s Team so a good crowd is expected to cheer them on.
