The Montville Chamber of Commerce, businesses and local artisans are pulling out all stops to host a fabulous Christmas Market on Saturday, December 7 at the Montville Village Hall and St Mary’s Hall.

“There is such excitement building as our business and artistic community are coming together to create a truly festive experience,” said Montville Chamber of Commerce President, Shiralee Cooper.

“We will have high quality market stalls from local businesses and artisans and it will be a wonderful opportunity for people to buy unique Christmas gifts and support their local businesses as well.”

Stallholders include Montville Woods with Aussie themed decorations and quirky gifts, Montville Antiques with vintage silverware spoons recycled and upcycled into beautiful Angels and Candy Cane Christmas ornaments and handblown glass Christmas ornaments taking inspiration from the old world-Eastern European families.

The Clockshop’s stall will tempt you with their colourful range of classic handcrafted German Christmas decorations.

If you’re looking for Christmas colours, Illume Creations will showcase locally made glass baubles and jewellery and you can stock up with festive gifts from Sunshine Coast Arts and Crafts.

Chic & Sassy Boutique will have accessories and a new range of gorgeous PJs, Twelve & a Half Acres Distillery with bespoke gin, The Country House at Hunchy who will be showcasing handcrafted jewelry, holiday, Christmas lamps, hand painted ornaments, and homemade jam, Crystal Multiverse with crystals and fossils from around the world and a huge range of niche gift lines, Epic Card Games will be there and Badger & Jo’s range of beautiful artisan pottery made with love in her studio in Palmwoods.

“The brass band will play at St Mary’s from 4, the Christmas market will be open from 4.30pm and at 7.00pm the Mapleton Choir will sing your favourites before the Christmas lights are turned on at 7:30pm,” Shiralee said.
