Fans of contemporary folk music will have the chance to hear one of Australia’s best-loved folk families perform together in a rare concert at the end of January.

Karen Law has been writing award-winning folk songs for over 30 years. Based in Nambour, she hosts the popular Sunday Folk concert series and the monthly Naamba Folk Club as well as performing around the country with her son Murray. Meanwhile her two daughters have formed the duo North and Elsewhere and are currently recording new music. To celebrate the imminent release of a string of singles, North and Elsewhere are joining forces with their mum Karen and brother Murray in this special family concert on Friday 31st January.

Taking place in an intimate seated venue at the Mapleton Pub, doors will open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Tickets are $15 in advance on Trybooking, or $20 on the door. Meals are available (bookings required) from the Mapleton Pub.
