Blue Demon Demi makes state hockey team

Suncoast Christian College aspiring athlete Demi Mills (year 9) recently participated in the U14 State Hockey Championships in Ipswich, spanning four days. 

The event paid off as Demi earned a spot on the Queensland team for the U14 Australian Championship and will be competing in a seven-day tournament in Perth at the end of September.

Last year, her Queensland U13 team emerged victorious in the Australian Championship, and she is thrilled to once again represent her state. Demi plays for the Nambour Blue Demons Hockey Club.
