Charge up your Tesla at the Ginger Factory

Electric vehicle (EV) drivers are getting a boost thanks to iconic Sunshine Coast tourism attraction The Ginger Factory this month as they unveil Queensland’s newest Tesla Supercharger and Destination Charging site.

Located in the carpark of The Ginger Factory, it will house 6 Superchargers and 6 Wall Connectors making it one of the biggest Tesla Supercharger Stations in Australia.

“We were absolutely thrilled when Tesla approached us about extending their network of Superchargers in Queensland,” said Tom Himstedt Managing Director Buderim Food Pty Ltd.

The Ginger Factory is conveniently located less than 2kms off the Bruce Hwy which carries thousands of people to and from Brisbane and beyond every day.

As a free admission tourist attraction, it’s also the perfect place to rest and recharge themselves and their passengers (as well as their electric vehicle).

Six Superchargers

The Supercharger Station will be open 24 hours a day to any EV drivers and will house 6 Superchargers capable of recharging vehicles in approximately 45 minutes (as well as 6 Wall Connectors) - the perfect amount of time to enjoy a world-famous Ginger Scone in the Ginger Factory Piazza area.
