Last year’s march.

The 2nd Light Horse Regiment - Woombye Troop will stage the annual Beersheba Day Parade marking the 105th Anniversary of the famous 1917 mounted charge.

The Troop invites you to watch the Beersheba Day Parade on Sunday October 30 from 10am.

Mounted Troopers, Rod Cross Nurses and Veterans will step off at 10am and parade through Woombye to the Memorial Park. The Memorial Service will be held at 10.15am in remembrance of the famous battle by Australian Light Horse 105 years ago. This will be followod by a display of horses, and equipment in the Light Horse Park. Tea, damper and ANZAC biscuits will be provided.

We would also invite any ex-serving members to be part of the parade. This will commence from a form-up point in the vicinity of Ignite Christian Church on Pine Grove Road and proceed to the Woombye Memorial Park.
