Woombye Bowls Aussie Night

There was a “full house” at the Woombye Bowls Club recently when the club celebrated an early Australia Day.

As well as the weekly menu, chef Clancy offered patrons some yummy Aussie tucker, like Steak with Garlic Prawn Toppers, Pies with Mushy Peas and Pavlova with Tropical Fruit for dessert. Thong-throwing and corner to corner bowls were fun activities offered to all. And kids had Aussie-themed craft activities to keep them busy also. Our weekly Joker Poker was not won so increases to $1200 next week.  Our Cobbs Camp Kitchen is open Fridays from 5pm with reasonably-priced hearty meals from $12 and kids meals at $8, with ice cream.
