Chevallum State School launches The Great Strawberry Bonanza

In these challenging times, Chevallum Strawbfest is excited to kick off a new project as a solution to the hurdles our community is facing in 2020.

This year, over a four-week period, Chevallum State School launches The Great Strawberry Bonanza.

The event consists of a series of raffles with exciting weekly cash prizes valued at $1500.

Sponsored by Your First Home Co. and Queensland Strawberries, raffle tickets, strawberries and strawberry-based products will be sold online and in various locations around the Sunshine Coast, including Sunshine Plaza every Saturday until 12 September.

“The Great Strawberry Bonanza is our way of giving back to the community which has supported the school for the last 33 years,” said Kirsten Bowman, President of the Chevallum State School P&C Association.

“We want The Great Strawberry Bonanza to ignite that sense of togetherness that Strawbfest gives us, reconnecting our wonderful community and giving people something to look forward to”.

Culminating in a live streamed event each Saturday, lucky prize recipients will be announced through the Strawbfest website and Facebook platform.
