Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show Society News with President Rowan O’Hara

“What’s on at the Show?”, is a question we are constantly asked. And we can finally answer it now! Get ready for Rolly Polly Quads, BMX riders motorcycle back flips, trial bicycles, tractors, fireworks, and chariot races around the show ring. You have to see it to believe it! And of course, it’s not a night's entertainment without Ford vs. Holden V8 Supercars Utes racing around the grounds. And we have Absolute Aerials performing regularly during the 3 days. The highlight of our entertainment is Horse Whisperer David Manchon with his Wild West Show featuring horses, bison, and Longhorn cattle. But that's not all! We have Side Show Alley, with the Freestyle, Dodgem Cars, the Graviton, the Mirror Maze, the Cha-Cha, plus we have a new ride, the Freak Out!

Woodchoppers

There is fun for kids of all ages. Watch the clever Professor Wallace's Puppets in action and relax with a good laugh. Visit our free petting zoo and meet some cute baby animals. Kids can walk our Farmer's Trail and go into the draw to win a daily grand prize and so much more. And, of course, we have Australian champion Woodchoppers competing on both Friday and Saturday.

Show Jumping

If that's not enough, we have some of the best horse jumping in Australia, with competitors who come from near and far to jump at our Show.

Looking for a place to unwind and relax? Bring along your picnic basket and sit on our BOQ Hill while enjoying the entertainment. With so much variety, you might find it challenging to decide what to eat, but don’t worry, as we’ve got you covered as we cater to food allergies as well.
