RangeCare’s Biggest Morning Tea event spreads joy, raises funds

RangeCare clients, staff and volunteers raised much-needed funds for cancer research at a Biggest Morning Tea event at the Nambour Day Centre in Doolan Street recently (May 25).

Clients and staff from RangeCare’s facilities in Flaxton, Nambour and Gympie enjoyed raffles, quizzes and, of course, a delicious morning tea prepared on site.

Heartwarming conversations filled the air, forging new connections and strengthening existing bonds. The beautifully arranged tables, were adorned with flowers and contagious smiles.

RangeCare’s Toni Hilton said the event was a testament to the organisation’s commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and connection. “Very few aged care providers would have services where people can come out of their homes and get together in a social environment like this,” she said.

Beyond their day-to-day responsibilities, RangeCare understands the importance of giving back to the wider community. Through events like the “Biggest Morning Tea,” they exemplify their unwavering commitment to making a difference.

RangeCare has been a local community care provider since 1986.

They  offer a full range of in-home, social and respite support services to encourage people to live independently for as long as possible.
