Lawyers' new initiative simplifies NDIS journey for locals

Jacob Corbett and Bridie Edwards’ experiences in legal practice, combined with personal connections to the NDIS, were key in shaping the direction of Pathway Perfect.

Nambour lawyers Bridie Edwards and Jacob Corbett have channelled their passion for helping the disability community into a new initiative called Pathway Perfect.

This family-run service launching 2025, aims to make the often-complex National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) more accessible and supportive for individuals with permanent and significant disabilities.

Ms Edwards and Mr Corbett say they understand first-hand the challenges faced by NDIS participants. “We developed our concept alongside family members who have worked for large state and national disability organisations for over 20 years, as well as being Participants under the NDIS,” says Bridie. “That experience taught us that while the scheme has life-changing potential, navigating it can be overwhelming. Our goal is to help people focus on their goals and not get lost in the process.”

Pathway Perfect connects participants with providers offering assistance in areas such as self-care, domestic help, personal care, gardening, and meal preparation. The service also supports those seeking social and community participation or help with transport. “We’re here to make the NDIS journey seamless and empowering,” says Jacob. “Our aim is to deliver friendly, reliable support that puts your goals front and centre.”

The duo’s experiences in legal practice, combined with personal connections to the NDIS, were key in shaping the direction of Pathway Perfect. “We’ve seen, both professionally and personally, how vital the right support can be,” Bridie adds. “But it’s not always easy finding the right providers or understanding the scheme’s complexities. Pathway Perfect bridges that gap.”

Operating as a smaller, family-based enterprise allows Pathway Perfect to deliver a personalised service that simplifies paperwork and fosters genuine connections between participants and suitable businesses. “At Pathway Perfect, we believe in keeping things simple and impactful,” says Jacob. “We want the community to feel confident, knowing there’s a compassionate team behind them every step of the way.”
