Nambour march into major semi with hard win over Maroochydore

The Nambour Toads women’s side will go into the major semi final on a high after defeating Maroochydore on Saturday 22-15. 

“Our game today was quite fantastic,” said Toads winger Jennifer Ladewig. “We went out strong in the first half coming together as a team. It does get tough when we don’t have enough players.”

The team will play Brothers in the first Grand Final qualifier at Noosa. 

“I reckon we’ve got them” Ladewig said. 

Her advice to the team?  “Don’t worry about them on Saturday and don’t forget we always have fun as Nambour.”
