Muses Trio to debut at Maleny arts concert

Maleny Arts Council is delighted to announce its first 2025 concert, set for Sunday, 9 March at 2pm at the Maleny Community Centre. The highlight of the evening will be the debut performance of the acclaimed Muses Trio, featuring Christa Powell on violin, Louise King on cello, and Therese Milanovic on piano.

The trio, known for their spine-tingling, virtuosic style, is a leading force in Australian chamber music and champions works by women composers.

Their performance in Maleny will showcase selections from their tenth-anniversary album “10 Years,” a feature on ABC Classic FM that spans genres from classical and chamber to jazz, big band and film soundtracks. The program has been designed to appeal to a wide range of musical tastes, ensuring a captivating and memorable experience for all.
