Mapleton Country Market wraps up year with record stalls and community grants

The Mapleton Country Market has officially finished for the 2024 year, with the convenors achieving an impressive 65 stalls for their last market - the largest yet.
This would not be possible without the amazing support of the Mapleton and District Community Association (MADCA) and its volunteers. This much-loved community event has grown over the past several years to be a must-see for hinterland locals and visitors to the region.
A fantastic initiative of MADCA sees all the surplus funds from the Mapleton Country Market directly supporting the MADCA Grants Scheme.
This year five of our local community groups were awarded grants including, Range Community Kindergarten, Range Community Gym & Fitness Centre, Mapleton State School P&C, Mapleton Choir and the Range United Soccer Club. Convenors Paula Wright and Donna Klease thanked MADCA and its volunteers for their hard work throughout the year and look forward to the first market of 2025, scheduled for 8am to 12pm on February 22nd.
