Mapleton Choir to sing Songs of America at concert

The Mapleton choir is a non-audition community choir and new members are always welcome.  

The music for the May concert, Songs of America, comes from north, central and south America from Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah to El Condor Pasa, La Bamba and Don’t Cry For Me Argentina.

The Choir rehearses at Kureelpa hall and will resume on Monday 4 July at 7pm to learn new work for the October concert.

  • The concerts will be held at Kureelpa Hall on Friday 27 May at 7.30pm and Sunday 29 May at 2.30pm.  Entry is $20 and seats can be booked and prepaid with a choir member or phone Ailsa on 5478 6079.
