The Maleny Music Festival is set to enliven the Sunshine Coast hinterland this weekend, running from Friday, 8 November, to Sunday, 10 November, at the Maleny Showgrounds. Celebrating its 12th year, the festival offers a diverse lineup of over 120 performances across multiple stages, featuring genres from folk and blues to Americana.
Attendees can look forward to music sessions, workshops, open mic opportunities, and street entertainment. The festival also caters to families, with children's activities and a dedicated kids' tent, The Hub, offering performances and interactive sessions throughout the weekend.
On-site camping is available, with facilities including hot showers and easy access to the festival grounds. For those preferring a day visit, the showgrounds are a short walk from Maleny's town centre, providing ample opportunities to explore local shops and cafes.
Tickets are available for full weekend access or single-day entry, with children under 12 admitted free and discounted rates for teenagers. Given the festival's popularity, organisers recommend securing tickets and camping spots promptly.
