If you are tired of isolating, imagine isolation with five of your best frenemies in one room for three days. This is the scenario in Social Climbers, Nambour Lind Lane’s last play for the year.

In this play by legendary Kiwi playwright Roger Hall, a group of women who work at the same school go on a get-away-from-it-all three day hike. Things go awry for the intrepid walkers when they arrive at their mountain bunkhouse for the night. The weather turns nasty and the unhappy campers get stuck for three days instead. As the rain falls, their stress levels rise.

“Hall is a keen observer of the human condition, and his plays have humour and heart in equal parts,” says Director Julian White, who originally hails from New Zealand. “The Lind has put together a seasoned and talented cast for Social Climbers. If you enjoyed Four Flat Whites in Italy here in 2018, you’ll love Social Climbers.”

Social Climbers opens at Lind Lane on Thursday October 29th, and closes on Saturday November 7th. There will be a total of eight shows including two matinee performances.

The health and safety of everyone at our theatre is our top priority, and our seating capacity has been temporarily reduced to allow our audiences to enjoy the show safely.

•Bookings are a must and can be made online at http://www.lindlane.com.au/watch or by telephone on 1300 732 764.
