Unique mix of modern reggae at Eudlo Hall

Jonathan Anstock  brings Leonard Cohen’s legacy to life.

Internationally acclaimed dub maestros Kingfisha have announced their first tour dates in four years, including a concert at Eudlo Hall on November 30.

“After a covid induced break gave us time to explore some new sounds and projects, it’s been great to reconnect through our love of dub and revisit the Kingfisha catalogue with some fresh ideas,” said Kingfisha guitarist Drew Stephens.

The band has been perfecting their unique mix of modern reggae for over a decade. Their sound is seductive, polished, and irresistibly catchy, characterised by deep, all-encompassing rhythms, compelling synth lines, and treated drums, topped with a soulful understated vocal. From Europe to Africa, their live shows have enchanted audiences, while at home in Australia, they are celebrated as bass-heavy roof-raisers, winning Triple J Unearthed Roots back in the day.

• Saturday 30 November – Eudlo Hall,  with District Dub City, Darl, Fingerz, Drewid, Shadefoot. Tickets & info: https://linktr.ee/kingfisha.
