For those we have loved & lost: Christmas Memorial Services return to Gregson & Weight

Gregson & Weight Funeral Directors are once again hosting their annual Christmas Memorial Services, welcoming the Sunshine Coast community to attend and honour loved ones lost throughout the year. Now in their 14th year, these heartfelt services have brought together thousands of Coast residents and feature performances by local musicians, a photographic tribute, and the lighting of the Christmas Memorial Tree.

General Manager Luke Gregson highlighted the significance of the occasions. “Attending a Christmas Memorial Service gives families the opportunity to come together to remember and honour those we have loved and lost this year. You are welcome to write a message in memory of your loved one and place it along with a Christmas ornament on our Tree of Remembrance during the service. Following the service, you are invited to join us for supper,” said Luke. 

This year’s services will take place from Monday, 2nd December, to Thursday, 5th December, at the Gregson & Weight branches across the Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra to Noosa. 

The Nambour service is at the Nambour Chapel 34 National Park Road on Tuesday  December 3. All services begin at 6pm and will be followed by light refreshments.

Families wishing to attend are encouraged to RSVP by Thursday, 28th November, by contacting their local Gregson & Weight branch or calling the Caloundra office on 5491 1559.

Gregson & Weight recently celebrated 50 years of service to the Sunshine Coast, providing funeral services to almost 45,000 families during their time of need.
