Peace of Green Gallery Maleny is a Sunshine Coast Artists Collective Gallery owned, managed, operated and funded by its local member artists.

Starting with just seven members in 1993 Peace of Green is Maleny’s longest-running gallery.

The local favourite has seen nearly 100 members pass through,  most staying for several years.

This success has seen the Gallery become an iconic institution in Maleny. Every day one of the represented artists is on duty to serve customers, and discuss the broad range of art for sale.

Works include a wide range of mediums from hand blown glass to ceramics and mosaics, paintings, printmaking and silk art, woodwork, leather, jewellery and more.

First opened in a small space next door to the Maple Street Co-op, it took only six months for interest in joining the Gallery to grow to the point where larger premises were needed. The antique space over the road became vacant and the group signed the lease and moved in. Peace of Green is still in that space.

At that point there were 17 artists.

Now with 25 active members, the Gallery is constantly evolving. Current artists include: Melanie Augustin, Lyn Donald, Glenys Fentiman, Julie Hanrahan, Annie Hopkins, Janet Johnson, Marc Kalifa, Cathy Lawley, Jacky Lowry, Annie McIntosh, Brett McIntosh, Philip McLaren, Noela Mills, John Morrison, Narelle Mulrooney, Gary Muscat, Joanna O’Brien, Craig Olive & Alison Morris, Gillian Pechey, Ian and Christine Reid, Judi Sell, Carolyn Sheather, Tracy Smith, Belinda Stanton, Eva-Maria Steinkamp.

Visit the gallery 7 days a week in the main street of Maleny from 9.30am to 4pm.
