Nambour Crushers dummy half A‘Eisha Jeffs, pictured, was awarded Sunshine Coast Rugby League’s Best and Fairest winner for the open women recently.

A’Eisha, pictured, started playing with the Crushers in 2016.

Club secretary Wendy Turner said it wasn’t only A‘Eisha’s rugby league skills that had impressed many people at the club.

“A’Eisha is really dedicated, and  not just as a player for her team and her coach,” Wendy said.

“She’s also a great club person who puts her hand up for everything. We’re all very proud of her.”

The 19-year-old is studying nursing at the University of the Sunshine Coast and says her goal is to play in the NRLW.

In other great news for the Crushers, Nambour Division 1 player Blake Woodford was named Rookie of the Year.
