Enjoy ultra-luxury cruising with Scenic Eclipse II
Business Writeup: Easy Travel & Cruise
Easy Travel & Cruise’s Sue Sullivan recently attended an exclusive ship inspection of the ‘ultra-luxury’ Scenic Eclipse II in Sydney, ahead of the launch of Australian cruises in 2024 and 2025.
“The event was a cocktail party and ship inspection for Scenic Luxury Cruise and Tours specialists, as well as an awards night,” Sue said. “It was fabulous to see this state of the art ship myself. It is very clear how the name Scenic has become globally recognised as synonymous with luxury.”
Scenic was founded in 1986 by Glen Moroney in Newcastle, Australia, and after starting as a land touring company, has since expanded into a global brand encompassing luxury river and ocean cruising.
Scenic Eclipse II features state-of-the-art technology and world-class design, including advanced navigation systems and eco-friendly innovations.
“The ship has two helicopters, a submersible, 10 dining experiences, nine bars and lounges, and 114 suites,” Sue said.
“It operates worldwide, visiting over 350 ports in 49 countries, including destinations in Australia, the South Pacific, Asia, and Antarctica. The ship’s submersible, Scenic Neptune II, and two Airbus H130-T2 helicopters offer unique exploration opportunities which are absolutely mind blowing.”
Scenic Eclipse II’s ultra-luxury features include all-verandah suite accommodations, butler service, a near 1:1 guest-to-crew ratio, and a variety of dining and leisure options. The Senses Spa, gym, yoga, and Pilates studio, along with the Sky Deck’s redesigned Vitality Pool, offer extensive wellness experiences.
“Scenic Eclipse II distinguishes itself with its Discovery Team, made up of experts in various fields, who provide guests with in-depth knowledge and unique experiences during their voyages,” she said.
“The ship’s dining experiences range from casual to fine dining, celebrating global flavors, and the Wellness facilities include infrared saunas, steam rooms, a Vitality Pool, and a salt therapy lounge. The Senses Spa offers various treatments and products, ensuring guests can relax and rejuvenate during their journey.”
Scenic Eclipse II will explore Australian waters in 2024 and 2025, offering unique experiences along the coastlines of Queensland, the Northern Territory, the Kimberley region, and Western Australia. The ship will also voyage to the Philippines, Japan, Korea, the South Pacific, New Zealand, and East Antarctica. In 2024, Scenic Eclipse II will make 24 departures, with another 24 scheduled for 2025 and early 2026.
