Burnside Coffee Den owners Minie and Navi Singh ... “If it hadn’t been for the support of our wonderful customers, we would have had a much worse time”.

After taking over the Burnside Coffee Den in September last year Minie and Navi Singh were just settling in when the COVID restrictions were introduced.

“If it hadn’t been for the support of our wonderful customers, we would have had a much worse time,” Minie said. “We are so grateful that they continued to come and enjoy our food.”

All of the meals on the menu are homemade and Minie and Navi have struck a winning formula with their scones, quiches, lasagne and burgers.

“We have been blown away by the Reviews our customers leave us on Facebook,” Minie said. “We had one customer say that ours is the best coffee on the Sunshine Coast!”

Now that the restrictions have lifted, you can once again dine in at Burnside Coffee Den.

“We are carefully observing the social distancing restrictions, but people really enjoy eating in and taking their time over a coffee and a paper,” said Minie.

“We have just introduced big breakfast omelettes and every day we get freshly baked specialty breads in from the German Bakehouse.

“The support we have had from our regular customers has reaffirmed our decision to come into this business. When they couldn’t dine in, customers would come and order takeaways and would not accept change when they paid for their food.

“We still have one customer who refuses to let us clip his coffee loyalty card because he wants to support us. Our customers love to come here, and we love to look after them.”

Burnside Coffee Den is at shop 4, 87-91 Coes Creek Road, Burnside. Phone: 5441 2951.
