Emotions take centre stage at Buderim Craft Cottage exhibition

The Buderim Craft Cottage’s Mixed Media Group will host its annual art exhibition from Saturday, 31 May to Sunday, 8 June, with doors open daily from 9am to 3pm at 5 Main Street, Buderim.

Titled Emotions, the exhibition is the result of twelve months of creative exploration by both established and emerging artists. Each artwork reflects the artist’s unique interpretation of the theme using a wide range of materials and techniques.

Visitors can expect a diverse display of original works including mixed media pieces, abstract art, landscapes and still life. All works are handmade by local artists and available for purchase. Artists will be present throughout the exhibition and are happy to discuss their work with visitors.

The Mixed Media Group is one of several artistic collectives that make up the vibrant Buderim Craft Cottage community. Proceeds from art sales help support the not-for-profit organisation by funding improvements and providing a collaborative space for artists to create and connect.
