Brows by Dee opens in Eudlo

BUSINESS WRITEUP: Brows by Dee

Dee Spotto: “After 18 years in the industry I have the expertise to service any brow set that walks through my doors.”

Dee Spotto’s introduction to the importance of eyebrow shaping was very personal. It was in Sydney in 2004 when she had her eyebrows ruined at beauty school.

“It was horrible and it altered my face, but not in a good way,” said Dee, laughing.

“That experience taught me all too well how important brows are.

“Over time I’ve learned that everyone is different and there is no one brow style that fits all. All the brows I shape are tailored to my clients’ individual needs.”

After the beauty school nightmare Dee owned her own Sydney salon for 10 years.

She  found herself in heavy demand: booked out six days a week, 10 hours a day with eyebrow services.

“It was then that I realised I needed to make brows my ‘thing’,” she said.

“And after 18 years in the industry I have the expertise to service any brow set that walks through my doors.”

Dee’s Clients range from 13 to 85 years and she covers the full range of brow services from waxing to cosmetic tattoos.

Now she has re-established in Eudlo, part of a recent resurgence in the once-sleepy but now increasingly bustling hinterland town.

From Cronulla to the Sunshine Coast, Dee has a large social media following of 12,300 and has launched an array of eyebrow products, from do-it-yourself tint kits to eyebrow pencils and even brow masks.

“All are vegan, organic and cruelty free,” she added.
