This year’s Remembrance Day service at Maleny RSL held special significance as Army Parachute Riggers from across Australia gathered to pay their respects. Veterans from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia joined in solemn remembrance at the ceremony, hosted by the Maleny RSL Sub Branch.

The annual Remembrance Day tradition sees parachute riggers come together somewhere in Australia to honour their shared legacy and fallen comrades. This year, Maleny had the honour of hosting the gathering, further strengthening the town’s bond with Australia’s military history.
