Hinterland ANZAC Services back to full strength. See Service schedules

Last year’s Mapleton ceremony.

Hinterland RSL Clubs are proud to announce that ANZAC Day Dawn Services and Main Parades will resume in full this year following Covid disruptions the past two years.

Nambour RSL Sub Branch President Kim Symmons said this year represented the first opportunity to conduct both Dawn and Main Service Anzac Day activities since 2019.

Nambour RSL welcomes locals, veterans and guests from Nambour & hinterland to the ceremony in Quota Memorial Park and through town.

They join communities across the hinterland in remembrance services paying tribute to former and currently serving servicemen and women from Australia and New Zealand.

The Nambour ANZAC Day Dawn Services will include the traditional Last Post, one-minute silence and wreath laying.

This year’s ANZAC day address, after the Main Parade, will be given by retired New Zealand Army Captain Guy Bridson who will give his perspectives on the Australian-Kiwi relationship.
