Wallace: ‘teals ... joined at the hip with the Greens’

Fisher MP Andrew Wallace is equally dismissive of the candidates’ claims to genuine independence, describing them as “anything but independent’.

“We know that the teals vote with the Greens more than 75% of the time.  The Greens political party are no longer the environmentalists of Bob Brown’s era who sought to care for and protect the environment.  The Greens are now militant extremists.”

Mr Wallace questioned why these candidates almost exclusively targeted Coalition seats. “The teals won six seats in 2022, all from the Liberals,” he said.

“A vote for a teal, is a vote for another 3 years of dysfunction and rising costs of living, particularly as Labor continue to roll out their renewables-only policy.”

He warned that a surge in teal success could lead to a minority government, with the Greens and the teals holding the balance of power.

“If the political pundits are right and we are facing a Labor/Greens/Teal minority Government after the next election, then God help Australia.

“They’re cagey about who they’d support in a hung parliament, but I guarantee you, they’ll side with Albanese and Bandt.”

For him, the choice is clear: “Australians can vote for a strong, decisive Coalition team… or watch this country continue down the woke path that has caused a  soaring cost of living. The Australia that I know and love would not accept the woke nonsense that has led to the soaring cost of living and social disharmony that we have seen over the past 3 years.”

Fisher MP Andrew Wallace “We know that the teals vote with the Greens more than 75% of the time.”
