LNP promises precinct for eating disorder patients

A Dutton LNP Government will provide $350,000 to deliver a nation-first facility upgrade to a crisis accommodation and community precinct in West Woombye.

The facility will support eating disorder patients, vulnerable families, and community groups. Sunshine Coast based charity, endED, is one of the country’s leading eating disorder charities and the funding would allow them to upgrade their facility and expand their services.

Federal Member for Fisher, Andrew Wallace MP, is one of the country’s leading eating disorder awareness advocates, having encountered the shortfalls of Australia’s health and social care system firsthand.

EndED founder, Mark Forbes with Andrew Wallace.
