Palmwoods State School and Yandina State School P&C have recently joined together to raise funds for their respective schools at an Aussie World event that was a huge success.

Palmwoods State School P&C co-secretary, Hannah Martin said “my co-secretary, Nadia Holland and I thought it could be great to do things a little differently and collaborate with the Yandina P&C to raise money. When we pitched the idea to them, they didn’t hesitate and jumped straight in with us!”

The event was a massive success, with both schools selling out their tickets and coming together as a community.

“It was amazing,” Hannah said.

“It was a wonderful night of two school communities and their families coming together, and we each raised around $2,000 for our schools P&C’s.

“We are super proud of our collaboration and both schools’ success and teamwork.”
