There’s plenty of parking! Don’t let the Streetscape construction put you off ...

Drive on Through says Narelle Kither ... “We will also have an ‘express’ 5 minute parking bay right outside the side door (in the driveway), where customers can park and run in to grab quick purchases.”

Sunshine Coast Council’s Woombye streetscaping project is charging towards completion in May, but there will be fewer parking areas along Blackall Street until then.

“While the work is being carried out, we will lose the parking spaces out the front of our shop from this week, for around a fortnight,” said Woombye Rural Supplies’ owner Narelle Kither.

“We are really excited to see the work being completed but in the meantime it is going to be hard, so we are going to make it as easy as we can to keep access easy for our valued customers.”

To the side of Woombye Rural Supplies (in the driveway), is an existing permanent drive through which customers can use to drive in and load their purchases.

“We will also have an ‘express’ 5 minute parking bay right outside the side door (in the driveway), where customers can park and run in to grab quick purchases,” said Narelle.

“We really want people to know that they can still drive in, despite the work that will be happening out the front. More than ever we need your support.”

Woombye Rural Supplies is a ‘one stop shop’ for people with acreage properties, hobby farms and for regular households as well.

“We have a full range of products for people who keep livestock, including feed and supplements, rural fencing and gates, hardware and plumbing lines, tanks, pumps, garden supplies, gas refills, firewood, pet food and accessories for cats, dogs and other small pets too,” Narelle said.

“So don’t let the construction out the front put you off. Drive through and let our friendly team look after you.”

Woombye Rural Supplies is at Shop 1/6-10 Blackall Street. Phone 5442 1190.
