Wedding bells chime as Nicklin MP ties the knot

Friends and relatives gathered in Palmwoods on September 24 to celebrate the wedding of Member for Nicklin Rob Skelton to his partner Aggy at the Palmwoods CWA Hall.

The reception was held at the same venue with Paul and Jean from Endless Time Cafe providing the catering.

A number of Rob’s parliamentary colleagues also attended including: Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities, Mark Furner; Minister for Employment and Small Business and Minister for Training and Skills Development, Di Farmer; Assistant Minister to the Premier for Veterans' Affairs and COVID Economic Recovery, Bart Mellish; MP for Greenslopes, Joe Kelly; MP for Stafford, Jimmy Sullivan; MP for Logan, Linus Power; and MP for Hervey Bay, Adrian Tantari.

The newlyweds spent a few days in Caloundra celebrating their marriage.

They chose to postpone their honeymoon until later in the year so Rob can continue to attend to his community and parliamentary duties.
