Wally Lewis and Willow at the golf day.

Compass families and trainees would like to thank all sponsors of the 2020 Compass Charity Golf Day for helping to raise $26,271 for the Compass Assistance Dog Program.

Held on the 25th of September, the day was a great success and the money raised will help extend the program to allow Compass to train more dogs that will one day be gifted to a local family with a child with autism.

Special thanks to our Guest Speakers Wally Lewis and Laura Langman and our major sponsor, Cricks Sunshine Coast.

The Compass Institute Inc. is an award winning Sunshine Coast based Charity dedicated to providing support for people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities.

Compass helps to provide Assistance dogs to children and young adults with Autism. Training with the puppy and instructor is the only cost a family has to incur when receiving a Compass Assistance Dog into their family.

Service Dogs play an important role our community, 25% of our dogs are rescue dogs, offering them a new lease on life.  Compass’s certified program ensures compatible matches are made between the dogs and service users.
