Nambour mourns loss of Eva Elizabeth Donaldson

Family and friends attended the celebration of Eva Donaldson’s life at the Gregson & Weight Chapel, Nambour on Monday (October 3). 

Eva married Alan Donaldson in 1956. Together they lived at The Gap, Beenleigh, Gatton, and Nambour, raising their four children. Eva was an active member of the Nambour Uniting Church congregation until her recent passing.

Eva, late of West Woombye, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2022 aged 89 years. 

Eva was the loving wife of Alan (dec’d). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Cathie and Ron, Neil and Annette, Andrew and Brenda, Janette and Brett. Loved Grannie of Robert, Geoffrey, Robin, Caryn, Nicholas, Helen, Steven, Justin, Emma Tara and Finn.

Loved great grandmother of Edgar, Lyra, Toby, Haley, Atticus, Rosalind, Rupert, Bryn, Jordyn and Archer. Loved sister of Jean (dec’d), Lanse (dec’d), Margaret and John.

Born at Wondai in 1933, Eva was the third child of Rev Joseph and Mrs Eva Tainton. After attending the University of Queensland she became the founding teacher at Nanango High School.
