Start the New Year on a great note with Tai Chi on the Coast

If you want to do something that calms and clears the mind,  then tai chi may be just the thing for you.

New tai chi sessions, designed for beginners, are starting soon in Woombye and Eumundi.

Tai chi involves slow continuous movements which improve balance, flexibility, and well-being.  Tai chi works as a moving meditation that helps body and mind to become supple and strong. The Harvard Medical School has stated that ‘tai chi is one of the best exercises you can ever do’.

The new introductory courses start at the following locations (intake will continue during February, subject to places being available). The first session is obligation free:

• Woombye. Woombye Snakes Football Club.  Starts Wednesday 1 February, 8:00am

• Eumundi. Eumundi State School Hall, Starts Wednesday 1 March at 6:30pm.

• Buderim. War Memorial Hall. Starts Monday 30 January, 10:30am • Maroochydore. Millwell Road Community Centre, Starts Saturday 4 February, 10:30am

Sessions are offered by the Taoist Tai Chi Society, a  charitable and volunteer organisation.

Pre-registration is essential. Strictly limited places. Visit www.taoisttaichi.org or email sunshinecoast@taoisttaichi.org
