Acting Up! Youth Theatre Academy is bursting onto The Lind Theatre stage this September school holidays, with a brand new, lush and romantic production of Robin Hood, Robin of the Greenwood.

This sparkling new version of the classic tale is written by Acting Up’s resident playwright Naomi Clasohm.

Acting Up’s crew of talented young performers have kept rehearsing, even in lockdown, when they ran their rehearsals on Zoom.

“Sometimes we had three groups rehearsing at the same time- all in different virtual rooms- a see of faces on screens- it can really get crazy” laughs Naomi.

Robin Hood premieres alongside a cute curtain-raiser The Pied Piper. Not recommended for children under 5, this spell-binding piece of family entertainment won’t be easy to forget. Six shows only: Wed Sept 22nd 11am & 6:30pm, Thur 23rd 6:30pm, Fri 24th 11am & 7pm, Sat 25th 12noon. The Lind Theatre Nambour. Tickets at the door or online https://www.trybooking.com/BTMUB.
