Passion for property keeps mobile agent on the move

Rosemarie Caston is on the move “I wanted to be able to look after my clients in the same way that I like to be treated”.

Forest Glen based mobile real estate agent Rosemarie Caston has been busy over the past couple of years selling properties from the Sunshine Coast to Gin Gin and Toowoomba.

“It has certainly been an interesting time in real estate,” Rosemarie said. “We have seen property values explode on the Sunshine Coast and I think a lot of property owners are capitalising on that spike by clearing their debt and reinvesting their money north and west, where they are able to secure more property for their dollar.”

According to Rosemarie, around 60% of her clients are from the Sunshine Coast and the remainder, largely from Brisbane.

“I have been in real estate since 2009 and established Imagine Real Estate in 2014,” Rosemarie said. “I had been inspired by a wonderful agent who sold a property for me, and I went into my own business with a strong desire to run things my own way. I wanted to be able to look after my clients in the same way that I like to be treated.”

Rosemarie’s client-focused approach has seen her agency grow organically, with many of her clients entrusting to her both the purchase of a new property and the sale of an existing one.

“It makes for very smooth and easy transactions when one agent deals with both,” Rosemarie explained. “Being mobile allows me to serve my clients in this way.”

“I am extremely energised by and passionate about everything I do,” Rosemarie said. “It is almost impossible to achieve the best results for others if you don’t inherently have passion.”

This explains how Rosemarie has struck a balance between running a growing agency, being mum to three children, competing at an international level in Chito-Ryu (martial arts) and giving back to the community as a Coast Guard Volunteer.

This same commitment and discipline saw Rosemarie become the first female coxswain (skipper) at QF6 in the flotilla’s 45 year history.

“I dedicate 100 percent of my effort to what I am doing because it is a disservice to everyone involved to offer less,” Rosemarie said.
