Yandina Art & Framing sponsors Photography section

Sophie Theobald Clark

Every year the Photography section of the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show is a crowd favourite, attracting hundreds of entries. Over the years the number of categories has increased and with it, displays of incredible photographic talent.

Yandina Art and Framing will be sponsoring the section again this year and framer and Painting Conservator, Sophie Theobald Clark will be involved in the judging.

“Last year there were some obvious stand outs, but the overall standard is very impressive which makes it difficult to pick the winners,” Sophie said.

There are a number of different photographic categories including Landscape, Wildlife, Agriculture, Portraiture and Faces of the Show.

“The categories are reflective of life in our area and the portraiture and wildlife categories in particular are of an extraordinarily high standard,” she said.

“The categories are going to be refined and tweaked a little this year, so I am looking forward to seeing the entries in each category. I think it is a section that is just going from strength to strength.”
