Celebrate festive flavours at a Secrets Christmas feast

The countdown to the festive season is well and truly on, and the team at Secrets on the Lake at Montville is excited to launch their Christmas menu which is available to the public now, right through to the end of December.

Owner Aldy Johnston said Secrets welcomed people to come and celebrate Christmas ahead of time with their family, workmates and friends.

“Our chefs have put together the most delicious seasonal menu that celebrates all things Christmas, and allows you to enjoy a stress free time. Our deck offers a number of options to cater for groups of all sizes, enabling you to soak in the views across the lake and the peaceful ambience of the surrounding forest. It is the perfect combination for fun and relaxation, and we welcome everyone from couples to large bus groups.”

With entrees including a leek and cheese souffle, baked brie and pork belly bites, to mains of pan fried Barramundi, roast turkey, baked ham and ricotta gnocchi, there are options for every taste, vegetarians and kids.

No Christmas feast would be complete without dessert and the team at Secrets has pulled out all stops with cakes such as baked cheesecake, pistachio cake, orange and almond cake and carrot cake, their traditional Christmas pudding, tiramisu, salted caramel panna cotta and creme brulee. Devonshire teas and icecreams complete the rich and luxurious dessert offering.

Guests at Secrets accommodation can really take their Christmas celebrations to the next level with the exclusive Secrets Package.

“This is the perfect way to transform your Christmas into a worry-free celebration,” Aldy said. “You can unwind in a charming treehouse and treat yourself to our carefully curated Christmas package. It includes a selection of delightful chocolates, a delicious cheese platter, a BBQ feast, and our mouth-watering Christmas Platters, packed with enough goodies to last all day.

“Plus, enjoy a bottle of Louis Perdrier, a lovely medium French sparkle to complement your meal. This package conveniently covers both Christmas Day and Boxing Day while our restaurant takes a break,” she said.

“If you prefer something simpler, we also offer just the Christmas Day platter, and you can choose your favorite wine from our menu.

It is a very special and relaxing way to spend the day.”

However you choose to celebrate this festive season, from a visit to Secrets to dine on the deck, or a stay in one of the fabulously appointed, award winning treehouses, you can be sure that it will be an unforgettable experience.
