Mapleton to honour the fallen this Remembrance Day

Matt Dykes leads a recent Anzac Service at Mapleton Memorial Park.

The Mapleton RSL Sub-Branch is inviting the local community to join them this Remembrance Day for a special service at the Mapleton Memorial Park. The ceremony will take place on 11 November from 10.30am to 11.30am, honouring all those who have lost their lives in service to the country.

The Blackall Lions Club will provide morning tea after the service at the park, offering an opportunity for community members to come together and reflect. Individuals and community organisations are welcome to lay a wreath in memory of the fallen. Those interested in laying a wreath are encouraged to contact Matt Dykes at 0427 263 595 or via email at matthew.dykes@mapleton.rslqld.net.au.

This ceremony provides a meaningful moment of reflection, uniting the community in honour of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
