The Sunshine Coast community has again proven its generosity with a recent charity drive spearheaded by Property Lane Real Estate Woombye, delivering an incredible 30 bags for the Share the Dignity initiative.

Share the Dignity, a charity dedicated to supporting women and girls in need, runs the "It's In The Bag" campaign annually. The campaign encourages individuals to fill handbags with essential items, including toiletries and personal care products, to help those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough.

Property Lane Real Estate, with its heart firmly rooted in the community, proudly took part in this year's drive, which was met with overwhelming support, not just from individuals and staff but also from local organizations and businesses.

“We couldn’t have achieved this without the incredible backing of our community,” said Property Lane Principal, Will Emms. “Special thanks go to the Community Bank Woombye and the Woombye Community & Business Association, who supported our efforts and assisted in inspiring others to contribute.”

The wider Woombye community also played a role, with residents and businesses stepping up to donate filled bags and essential supplies. The 30 bags collected by Property Lane Real Estate are a testament to the kindness and generosity that defines the Sunshine Coast spirit.

Share the Dignity’s mission is to provide dignity and hope to those in need, and this local effort aligns perfectly with their vision. Every bag donated represents a message of support and a reminder that no one in the community is alone in their struggles.

The team at Property Lane Real Estate is grateful to everyone who participated in making this campaign such a success.

“This initiative is more than just charity; it’s a reflection of the strong sense of connection and care that makes Woombye and its surrounding areas so special,” Will said.

As the festive season approaches, Property Lane Real Estate encourages everyone to find ways to give back and make a difference.

“Whether it’s through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading kindness, every small act helps build a stronger, more compassionate community.”
