Christmas fun kicks off at Nambour Plaza with parade and free Santa photos

Santa will arrive at the Plaza at 10am on December 7.

Nambour Plaza will be bustling with Christmas festivities from 10am on Saturday the 7th of December when Santa officially arrives at the Centre.

“We have a huge morning of family fun planned,” said Centre Manager, Michelle Lees.

“There will be a Christmas parade with many wonderful children who will be dressed in their best to escort Santa to his chair, face painting, a roving magician, and balloons for the children.

“This year Nambour Plaza has welcomed The Salvation Army to look after the gift wrapping station, they will be in the Centre from 1st December to help you get your Christmas shopping wrapped, and the donations raised will help locals with the cost of living crisis we are facing at the moment,” she said.

Nambour Plaza is a fantastic one stop shop to get your Christmas shopping done, with 3 hour free parking, and parking angels to help you find a park in that busy week leading up to Christmas, a wide variety of favourite stores and services, a food court offering something for everyone and newly refurbished facilities.

“It will be the perfect opportunity to bring the family along and receive a free photo with Santa,” said Michelle.

“This year we have sensory and pet friendly sessions, bookings are essential and information can be found on our website or scan the in centre posters. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to kick off the festive season.”
