Ho, ho ho! Free photos with Santa are back at Nambour Plaza

Nambour Plaza will be happily welcoming back Santa Claus this year after last year’s hiatus with a brand new, one of a kind Santa set that has been hand crafted by a local retired builder.

“We understand the popularity of the Frozen franchise and we wanted to recreate some of that magic, so this year we have a Frozen themed Santa photo set. We’re delighted to be welcoming Santa back to Nambour Plaza to meet families this festive season,” said the Centre’s Administration and Marketing Manager, Clare Webb.

Santa will return to the Centre from Saturday 4th December and shall be at the centre daily from 10am, until Friday 24th of December.

“We have extra measures in place for Santa photos this year due to Covid-19 rules,” said Ms Webb. “When visiting, please maintain social distancing with other families, Santa and his helpers. We ask that you do not sit on Santa’s lap, chair or high five Santa. Regular cleaning of the Santa Photo Set will take place between sittings. Please use hand sanitiser and if unwell, please do not attend.

“There is no need to book, however afternoons are generally quieter and the last week is always the busiest.

“We offer one free 6x4 photo which is printed on the spot,” Ms Webb explained. “Providing a free Santa photo to all our customers is a great way to encourage the sentiment ‘Live

Local, Shop Local’. We also have free Letters to Santa available (available while stocks last), for customers having their photo. Just pop them in our mail box near the set ready for him to read before Christmas arrives”.

The amazing team from Nambour and District Lions Club have been honing their wrapping skills and will be back once again with a Charity Christmas wrapping stall from the 7th of December until Christmas Eve. This year, Gold coin donations will help raise funds for The Chevallum Community Centre. The Lions traditional Christmas cakes and Christmas Pudding will be available for sale, along with a raffle to raise funds for Woombye’s Christmas on the Field.

“The Rotary Club Nambour shall be in the centre from the 6th December with their extremely popular raffle to win a wheelbarrow full of gifts,” said Ms Webb. “Funds raised will go to Rotary projects for young people in our local community”.

Nambour Plaza specialty stores include a diverse range of fashion, food and services and free three hour parking is available for Nambour Plaza shoppers. “We have everything you need to get ready for this Christmas”.

Manager Clare Webb says the scene is set for  free photos with Santa at Nambour Plaza.
