Nambour Netball Grand Finals

After several nail biting grand final matches Nambour & Districts Netball Association had their Saturday 2015 winners for the season. Some very tight games were played with the final round battling the natural elements but soldiering on to have full time called at three quarters due to rain.Div 1 Woombye Magic defeated Renegades 38 - 21. Div 2 Woombye Dynamite defeated Breakaways 23 - 12. Div 3 Yandina Flames defeated Woombye Rockstars 9 - 5 and  Div 4 Saints Shooting Stars defeated Woombye Glitter 19 - 11.Best and Fairest Awards went to Div 1 Emma Lusk. Div 2 Greta Gowan. Div 3 Gypsy Vollmer and Div 4 Claudia Dykes.The winner of the perpetual Player of the Finals Match trophy was awarded to Bianca Bell from Woombye Magic.Congratulations to all players on a fantastic season and to all those family, friends and supporters who show up week after week to support these young players. Umpire Perpetual Trophies were awarded to Mia Thomsen for Most Improved Junior Umpire.  Georgia Southern for Most Improved Senior Umpire and Lucy Shultz for Umpire Encouragement Trainee Award.
