Grand final memories alive and kicking after 35 years

Members of the mighty 1987 Nambour Rugby League Club A Grade team.

They may have aged a bit but the memories were as vivid as if they happened yesterday. Members of the mighty 1987 Nambour Rugby League Club A Grade team celebrated the 35th anniversary of the club’s first Sunshine Coast Rugby League Premiership. Back then, they beat Caloundra at the Nambour Showgrounds 28-18. The reunion at Crusher Park on Saturday (August 6) was a trip down memory lane and a great evening was had by all as they watched the current-day Crushers take on Beerwah.
