Nambour U13s prepare to take the court.

The junior Netball Queensland Nissan State Age Championships 2020 is a competition where the best of the best netballers, aged 12-15 years throughout the state come together to compete in a 4 day event.

That means 215 teams, 2153 participants and 28,380 minutes of game time over 1290 fixtures.

Hosted by Sunshine Coast Netball Association, Nambour & Districts Netball Association sent four teams, U12, U13, U14 and U15’s who represented their association with passion and determination.

So many athletes, coaches, managers, umpires and volunteers coming together at this once a year event, was a sight to behold. Games were won and lost over four days of solid netball.

All Nambour teams showed great sportsmanship on and off the court.

By the 4th day there were many tired yet happy young netballers who had taken the court, given 100 percent and taken away a lifetime of memories of the game they love. Congratulations to all competitors.

Nambour Netball is proud to have these teams represent them at State level.
