Nambour cricketers to raise money for McGrath nurses

Nambour Cricket Club will be turning pink on 29 January in support of the McGrath Foundation’s mission to ensure that no one goes through treatment without the assistance of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.

The McGrath Foundation raises funds to support people with breast cancer by providing the specialist nurses where they are most needed across Australia. It is through the support of community groups like Nambour Cricket Club that the Foundation can continue providing this crucial support to local families experiencing breast cancer.

“It’s the McGrath Foundation’s goal to fund 250 McGrath Breast Care Nurses by 2025, as we work towards our mission of ensuring that no one misses out on care,” said McGrath Foundation Ambassador & Director Tracy Bevan.

“Events like this are truly helping us to make a difference and move towards that goal.”

“The entire Nambour Cutters community is excited to turn pink to raise funds for a cause so close to our hearts,” said Nambour Cutters Finance and Publicity Officer Jack Watson.
