Lovers of vintage gear up for Spring Fair Collectorama

This September there will be 150 dealers all at the same venue.

On Saturday September 3rd, vintage-lovers will once again be able to get out hunting and collecting at Nambour Showgrounds at Collectorama.

Event founders, Tom and Laurie Wall, are excited to be hosting their Spring Fair. “It’s all systems go from 7am until 2pm,” said Laurie.

“Collectorama is ethical retail therapy at its best, everyone’s happy!” Laurie said.

Tom and Laurie have forged a solid reputation for curating a huge eclectic event, full of surprises.

“Even though it’s old, it can always be in fashion,” said Tom.

This September there will be 150 dealers all at the same venue.

“This means there will be bargains galore,” Laurie said. “There is nothing quite like watching visitors dipping into the masses of treasure. The whole atmosphere is charged with anticipation and excitement because you never quite know what you will find. There’s all kinds of stuff including vinyl records, books, glass, vintage fashion, tools, jewellery, clocks, watches, ceramics, coins, toys and so much more. Too many things to even write down!”

After more than 30 years, Collectorama has become synonymous with good fun, as thousands of people have rummaged through mountains of treasures to track down those tangible objects of desire.

“There will be vintage and collectable items as well as high-end antiques,” Laurie said. “Whatever your budget, I am very sure a ‘Eureka moment’ awaits you! And we are so happy that the Cafe Rotunda has returned to its pre-Covid incarnation for seating and eating.”

Admission per person is $6 cash and there are ATM’s onsite. There will be food trucks, fabulous coffee and sweet treats.  Parking is free. You can find Collectorama on Facebook and Instagram @CollectoramaFair, or you can phone Tom on 0418 744 887 for all enquiries. Collectorama supports WILVOS, our dedicated local wildlife rescuers.
