Nambour BOQ forges local ties, wins national best branch award
The Bank of Queensland Nambour and Hinterland has recently been recognised in an Australia wide Bank of Queensland award as the equal best branch in Australia over the first half of the financial year.
“We are absolutely super stoked with this achievement,” said branch owner Matt Wall.
“We have got a wonderful culture here amongst our team and every one of us is committed to serving our customers to the highest possible standard. But still, being recognised in the BOQ QSTAR Bank of Queensland awards is an incredible nod to the way we operate. We all feel very proud.”
The awards are based on a range of factors including growth.
“Obviously growth is important, but the most important measure to us is ‘customer happiness’,” Matt said. “Without happy customers, we simply don’t have a branch. We all feel exceptionally fortunate to be a part of the Nambour and Hinterland community and this accolade would not be possible without our customers. We love our community and are here to help them for the long term.”
The Nambour and Hinterland BOQ has, within a relatively short space of time, become well embedded into the local landscape, supporting community groups and sport clubs such as the Hinterland Blues AFL Club, the Nambour Toads Rugby Union Club, Nambour Cricket, the Nambour Piranhas Swim Club, St John’s College and the Sunshine Coast Youth Orchestra.
“We have been made to feel so welcome amongst all of these fantastic organisations and we love being a part of it,” Matt said.
“We are looking forward to many more years serving our community and we are keen to keep up the momentum; we have our eye on the annual award now!”
