Millsy’s Pop-Up Restaurant looking for charity beneficiaries

In 2014, Brett Mills came up with the idea of ‘Millsy’s Pop-Up Restaurant’ - a unique way for he and his team at Ken Mills Toyota to support the Sunshine Coast Community.

For just one night a year, the Ken Mills Toyota staff transform their Maroochydore Service workshop into a fine dining experience for 150 people.  “Millsy’s Pop-Up Restaurant has a very special place in my heart,” said Dealer Principle, Brett Mills.

“When I came up with the concept it was to raise both funds and awareness for some of the smaller grassroots Charities’ here on the Sunshine Coast. Now the event is in its sixth year, and in that time we have been able to give back over $300,000 to some very worthy local causes,” he said.

“The last twelve months have been incredibly unique, and we know that charities have suffered so we are asking them to please come forward and put in an application to be one of the beneficiaries this year.”

Last year, the event couldn’t go ahead due to COVID-19 restrictions, but will be back on Saturday 16 October with the aim of making the most of the simple pleasure of eating together while supporting those who need it most.

That’s where Ken Mills Toyota needs you.

Are you a Sunshine Coast based registered charity or community organisation that would like to partner with Ken Mills Toyota as one of the event beneficiaries for 2021?

• Applications close 31 May 2021 at midnight and can be made via the Application Form at www.millsyspopuprestaurant.com.au
